Pool Day

Sunday was gorgeous so we were able to enjoy the day at Cliff and Karen's by the pool with our nieces. They are quite the swimmers and we had a lot of fun with them.

Ottawa County Fair Off-Road

Saturday night my brother was in the off-road derby at the fair so Pete and Stacey came with Brian and I and we were able to enjoy some junk food and watch the races. We met my parents and Mike's fiance Kim there as well. Mike was hoping to really wreck his car so he didn't have to do these anymore. For some reason he thinks its more fun to do those enduro races. So I guess our lives of sitting on hard cement counting his laps will continue on! Mike got hung up on the second lap so his car is still good to go! It was a hot night but fun.

Friday Night Bonfire

This weekend we were actually home to enjoy Friday night with our traditional bonfire with yummy hobo-pies. The cute little neighbor girls laid on our lawn and watched a movie on Rylee's DVD player....they have such a rough life! :o)

Lazy day on the river

5th Annual Rafting Trip

After our 10K run we were able to enjoy the day and raft down the Muskegon River with all of our friends. The weather was perfect and we had so much fun!

Brian winning his first medal

Brian finished 20th overall and he won his age division! He did awesome!

10K Run

Jen, Brian and I did our first ever 10K run around Hess Lake in Newaygo this weekend. It was definitely hard with the million hills we had to run up but we all did better than we thought we would!
